Artist
Graeme Dixon
Graeme’s studio is the Australian Outback when not painting at home in Perth, he grew up on a farming property in Gippsland Victoria surrounded by the Australian environment.
In 1968 Graeme commenced painting, continuing over the years combined with his love of travel throughout the Australian outback.
Graeme was born in Melbourne before moving to Adelaide to be with his family, where he had his studio in the beautiful Adelaide hills for the next 5 years, arriving in Perth years ago, always restless and searching for the next scenery to be placed on paper or canvas. Now being in Western Australia has made available, a new and exciting part of Australia to further develop his Australian landscape repertoire.
Graeme has held many successful solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Adelaide and now Perth where he has held three exhibitions, in all totalling seven of his work.
His paintings adorn walls in private collections throughout the world, including London, Austria, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, New Zealand, and of course here at home in Australia.
Through his works, Graeme helps us to see the world, particularly his home country of Australia, in all its beauty.
Artist
Sam Dixon
Following in his Grandfather’s footsteps as an artist. Sam loves to paint and create images from his mind. With a focus on abstract art his art differs from his Grandfathers Australian Outback focus. Sam loved art from his early years and this has continued through school. On return from living in the United States late 2019 he decided to start experimenting with oils and acrylics.
Sam creates abstract art using a multitude of colours and just lets the paint and canvas take him to where it wants to go.
Sam paints from his mind with varying styles and colours.
